For the Love of Physics - Walter Lewin - May 16, 2011 - Duration: 1:01:26. Lectures by Walter Lewin. They will make you ♥ Physics. Recommended for you. After joining or starting a meeting, you will see a Zoom window on each monitor. The meeting controls and participant's video will display on one monitor, while the other monitor will just display participants' video. When you start sharing your screen, you can continue to view participant's video on the other monitor. Zoom boxes and magnifiers are cool, effective and universally accepted. However, nothing beats full-screen zoom, really. Except full-screen 360 degree view. With our full-screen image zoomer, you can: Display high-resolution images without slowing down your website. Show product thumbnails for easy navigation. Table 1 allows you to work out the total magnification when using both. For example, if you are wearing 2 diopter reading glasses (equivalent to 1.5x Total Power) and also have a 1.5x power magnifier then the total magnification is 3x, or in other words, a 10cm object will appear to be 30cm long. Magnifixer: Screen Magnifier Screen Magnifier / Pixel Viewer Magnifixer is an advanced screen magnifier utility. You can place it anywhere on your screen, make it any size you want and select a zoom level. Magnifixer will always show the area of your screen where the mouse cursor resides.
Magnifying the screen is different than just enlarging the text size. This feature is like having a magnifying glass, allowing you to move around by zooming in on parts of the screen.
- Open the Activities overview and start typing Accessibility.
- Click on Accessibility to open the panel.
- Press on Zoom in the Seeing section.
- Switch the Zoom switch in the top-right corner of the Zoom Options window to on.
You can now move around the screen area. By moving your mouse to the edges of the screen, you will move the magnified area in different directions, allowing you to view your area of choice.
You can quickly turn zoom on and off by clicking the accessibility icon on the top bar and selecting Zoom.
You can change the magnification factor, the mouse tracking, and the position of the magnified view on the screen. Adjust these in the Magnifier tab of the Zoom Options window.
You can activate crosshairs to help you find the mouse or touchpad pointer. Switch them on and adjust their length, color, and thickness in the Crosshairs tab of the Zoom settings window.
You can switch to inverse video or White on black, and adjust brightness, contrast and greyscale options for the magnifier. The combination of these options is useful for people with low-vision, any degree of photophobia, or just for using the computer under adverse lighting conditions. Select the Color Effects tab in the Zoom settings window to enable and change these options.

xFont technology displays high-definition text that’s easy to read at all magnification levels. Smooth, bold and condense settings allow you to fine-tune the thickness and spacing of text for added legibility. With other screen magnifiers, the clarity of text is degraded in the magnified view. As a result, many fonts (text characters) are difficult to read, including small fonts, serif and italic fonts, and cursive fonts. With ZoomText’s revolutionary ‘xFont’ technology, you’ll see amazingly clear text at all magnification levels. All types and sizes of text are displayed with high-definition clarity, in all of your applications. Once you’ve seen xFont, no other screen magnifier will do.Standard Magnification
